Alfie maintains a searchable database of bbs filelists which can be accessed locally or remotely via SQUISH, JAM and *.MSG message bases. ** Alfie has not yet been publicly released, but should be available by mid-summer 1996 ALF_FC01.ZIP (freq ALFIEFC) - NEW for '96! AlfieFC's main function is to generate compiled file-requestable filelists for the Alfie server, but can be used as a stand-alone text ALLFILES list creator. ** AlfieFC has not yet been publicly released, but should be available by mid-summer 1996 SCID101.ZIP (freq SENTRY) - NEW for '96! [114762 bytes] Sentry-CID v1.01 for DOS and OS/2. Sentry (or SCID) reads your mailer's logfile, verifies the CID data to the best of its abilites and logs on or barricades users (Auto-Login currently only available for the Maximus BBS system). Users can also be verified on-line eliminating the need for kludgy call-back verifiers. Among it's powerful features is even an option to update your system clock!
